Hi! I'm Alyssa, also known as Tulip. Or the other way around? I answer to either name, on an aesthetic level I probably prefer Alyssa, more people know me as Tulip, overall it's kind of a wash-up; feel free to refer to me by whichever you find easier. She/her pronouns preferred, either way.

Anyway. I'm a catgirl prone to lurking in rat-ish internet spaces, and doing my best to keep up a habit of actually interacting with people rather than falling into my past self's socially-anxious not-doing-that ways. I occasionally post musings on whatever interesting ideas have my attention; major recurring themes include self-modification and media nerdery, but with lots of outliers whenever some other thing inspires me to thoughts that seem worth publicly airing.

If you're interested in chatting with me for whatever reason, I highly recommend messaging me. I'm bad at initiating conversations myself, but that's not out of disinterest in chatting, just out of not-yet-obliterated shards of social anxiety; I've historically enjoyed my chats with everyone who's chosen to initiate conversations with me, and don't expect that pattern to break any time soon.
